The New York State Department of Economic Development and the New York City Department of Small Business Services have granted prestigious Minority-Owned Business awards to Derive. Derive holds two other important MBE certifications from the New York and New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc., and the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey.

In addition, in 2011, Derive was named Minority Global Technology Firm of the Year by the United States Department of Commerce (USDC).

This formal recognition enables us to provide a series of dedicated, diversity-related business and technology education services to a wide array of organizations and prominent individuals. We are also able, as an official MBE company, to engage in important business relationships with corporations and public sector enterprises throughout the United States, New York State, and New York City, which have been specially empowered to offer opportunities to Minority-Owned suppliers.
