Job Description:

The Senior Solution Sales Executive is accountable for the revenue growth and customer satisfaction for an account or a group of accounts within a geographic region.
Responsibilities:
-
Prospecting to identify new sales opportunities.
-
Qualifying and making presentations to potential customers.
-
Proposing and closing opportunities for solutions.
-
Cross selling and up selling the product suite into existing accounts.
-
Setting and managing customer expectations throughout the lifecycle of the account.
-
Maintaining the highest levels of personal & professional behavior in the work place.
Position Objectives:

Achieve or exceed monthly revenue targets.
-
Ensure and maintain minimum funnel goals are met or exceeded.
Essential Duties:

Identify and capture revenue opportunities for the targeted managed service or solution.

Independently establish and grow new or existing client base.
-
Communicate effectively with peers, superiors and other company personnel.
-
Identify, understand and solve any obstacles or objections to the successful sale of company services.
Required Skills/Background:
-
Bachelor’s degree (4 year college) or equivalent experience required (MBA preferred).
-
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in selling large deals to executives and senior management in Global 2500 and larger mid-size companies.

Background in IT infrastructure or integration companies or direct experience with:
- Professional service providers
- Hardware (e.g. HP)
- Software (e.g. Microsoft, Citrix)
- Virtualization (e.g. VMware)
- Security (e.g. Symantec, Cisco)
- IT consulting (e.g. Capgemini, IBM Global Services)

System integrators.

Demonstrated success in applying consultative selling techniques to opportunities with extensive Sales Training.

Proven track record in a “team oriented” selling environment, including the ability to act as the team’s quarterback when developing complex solutions.

Proven and verifiable track record in exceeding sales quotas.

Proven sales track record in New York Metropolitan Area geographic market (needs to have worked extensively in the region).

Excellent communication skills.

High energy and drive.

- Extensive knowledge of Channel sales environment.
